Nothing tells the story better than the words of applicants who have been through the process. Here's what clients have experienced working with Cheramie Admissions Consulting.

“Working with Dr. Cheramie was both an informative and highly rewarding experience. His extensive knowledge of the admissions process, combined with years of experience, allows him to provide insightful and strategic guidance tailored to each student’s application. His professionalism, encouragement, and commitment gave me the confidence to believe in myself throughout the admissions process.”— Henry Taylor, LSU Dental, Class of 2028

“In a world filled with AI and a multitude of conflicting opinions, Dr. Cheramie provides authentic constructive criticism based on decades of experience and knowledge of professional school admissions. Most importantly he wants to see you succeed in your endeavors and he will help prepare you for your future. “—Eliott Reimann, LSU Dental, Class of 2027

“For me, Dr. Cheramie wasn’t just the dean of admissions, but also a friend who had my best academic and personal interests in mind. He was able to take the stress out of a nerve-racking process like applying to dental school, by talking to me as a friend rather than just another applicant. This allowed me to be comfortable and confident throughout the process, especially knowing that I could go to him with anything on my mind even after the application process was finished.”—Coleman Taylor, LSU Dental, Class of 2027

“I can honestly say that I would not be in dental school today without Dr. Cheramie’s guidance. As a nontraditional applicant, I had serious doubts about whether I had any chance of being accepted and was close to giving up on pursuing dentistry altogether. Dr. Cheramie helped me identify the weaknesses in my application, prepared me thoroughly for interviews, and showed me how to present my experiences in the strongest possible way. His advice and encouragement made all the difference. Thanks to his mentorship, I was not only accepted to dental school, but I was fortunate enough to be admitted to my top-choice program.”—Logan Carlson, LSU Dental, Class of 2027

FAQ

Who is Cheramie Admissions Consulting for?

We work exclusively with applicants to U.S. dental schools (DDS/DMD programs). Our clients range from first-time applicants to reapplicants who are strengthening a previous cycle's materials.

What makes Cheramie Admissions Consulting different from other services?

Most admissions consulting services are staffed by former applicants or generalists. Dr. Cheramie is a former Associate Dean of Admissions at a dental school — he was the person making admissions decisions for over 20 years. He also holds his DDS and spent a decade in private practice. This combination of institutional insider knowledge, clinical experience, and academic background is unmatched in dental school admissions consulting.

Do you work with all applicants, or only strong ones?

Dr. Cheramie works with motivated applicants at all levels of competitiveness. Whether your GPA and DAT are excellent and you want to maximize your edge, or you're working with a less-than-perfect record and need a strategic approach, he can help you put your best application forward.

Do you work with reapplicants?

Absolutely. Reapplicants benefit enormously from an expert who can identify exactly what held back a previous application and build a stronger strategy for the next cycle.

How do sessions work?

Cheramie Admissions Consulting is accessible to applicants anywhere in the country. Written feedback, email communication, and (when appropriate) video call (Zoom or similar) are included with every service.

When should I start working with you?

The earlier the better. Ideally, applicants pursuing the June AADSAS opening should begin working with Dr. Cheramie in the winter or spring prior. That said, we can add significant value at almost any stage of the process — including last-minute interview prep.

Do you guarantee acceptance into a program?

No. Obviously, there is no guarantee of acceptance into any program. However, we will diligently work to put your best application forward and re-strategize, if needed, for any additional applications/re-applications.

How many clients do you take per cycle?

To preserve the quality and personal attention that defines this practice, Dr. Cheramie limits the number of the Advanced Service clients each cycle. Spots are filled on a first-come basis. Contact us early to confirm availability.
